Greetings of Solidarity from Germany

Hello Activitsts in Serbia,

My name is Marcus and I am an activists over here in Germany myself. As you might know, tens of thousands of students in Germany have been protesting against tuition fees and the privatisation of education as well.

Since the beginning of this year I have been watching the protest in Belgrade closely and I was happy to see that there are also students in other countries such as Austria, Greece, Israel and also Serbia where students are fighting exactly the same process like we do.

So I want to send you some greetings of solidarity and I wish you guys and girls all the best!!

For the past two months I was not able to find any updates regarding the situation at Belgrade University. What are the latest developments?

I also keep track of the latest students protests internationally: http://fading-hope.blog-city.com/international_student_protests_2007.htm and also want to write about the latest news in Belgrade.

Do you know students that travel to the G8 protests in Germany next month?

We have organized a camp, the Yellow Barrio, where students from the movement in Germany, Greece, France and hopefully some other regions will camp together and plan protests. It would be great, if people from Serbia could join us as well.
You will find more infos on that on my blog: fading-hope.blog-city.com or at block-g8ucation.org
